Your plan, in the chat

Bring the plan you already follow, or ask Claude for one. It draws the block, then puts every session on your Garmin calendar.

ACTIVITIES

Analyse a run or a ride

Splits, pace, heart-rate zones, cadence and running dynamics for a run. Speed, power, normalised power, intensity factor and training stress for a ride.

Why did Sunday’s long run feel so hard?

RECOVERY

Recovery and readiness

Training readiness, overnight HRV against its baseline, sleep, Body Battery, stress and resting heart rate, beside your training load.

Should I do the threshold session today or push it to tomorrow?

FITNESS

Fitness and race predictions

VO2 max, Garmin’s 5K to marathon race predictions, lactate threshold, endurance score and hill score.

What half marathon time is realistic for me in eight weeks?

PLANS

A training plan on your watch

Structured workouts with target paces, heart rate or power, a whole block scheduled onto your Garmin calendar, and a check on which sessions you did, moved or missed.

Build me a 12-week marathon plan and put it on my watch.

STRENGTH

Strength sessions

Gym workouts from Garmin’s own exercise list, with sets, reps, rest and weights, sent to your watch like any other workout.

Add a 30-minute strength session for runners on Thursday.

PROGRESS

How the training is going

Planned sessions against what you actually did, week by week, so a missed run or a moved session shows up straight away.

What it can and can’t touch

Encrypted, and deleted when you leave

Daash keeps an encrypted access token, and on Garmin’s own sign-in the summaries Garmin sends, encrypted too. Disconnect deletes all of it.

Reads everything, writes only workouts

Daily summaries, sleep, activities, splits and zones are readable. Writing stays inside your workout library, and deleting always asks first.

Your history is out of reach

Nothing here edits or deletes a recorded activity, so a run you’ve done can’t be lost, however a request is worded.

Questions

What is Daash?

A connector that lets Claude or ChatGPT read your Garmin Connect data and put workouts on your watch. You add one address to your AI app and sign in to Garmin once. It’s a hosted Garmin MCP server, so there’s nothing to install.

Is it free?

Yes. No subscription, no paid tier, no card. You need a Garmin Connect account, plus Claude (free works) or a paid ChatGPT plan.

Can Claude make a training plan and put it on my Garmin watch?

Yes. Ask for a session or a whole block and it’s scheduled onto your Garmin calendar, with target paces or heart rate. It arrives on your watch at the next sync.

Which watches and sports does it work with?

Any Garmin that syncs to Garmin Connect, from Forerunner and Fenix watches to Edge bike computers. It reads every activity, with power for rides and pace per 100 and SWOLF for swims, and builds running, cycling, swimming, walking and strength workouts. HRV and training readiness need a recent watch worn overnight.

Which Claude or ChatGPT accounts work?

A free Claude account works if Daash is your only custom connector, so remove any others first. On Claude Team and Enterprise only an admin can add connectors, so a personal account is simpler. In ChatGPT, add it under Plugins on a computer. We’ve tested it on ChatGPT Plus. After that it works in the phone app too.

Is it official?

Daash is independent and not made or endorsed by Garmin. What it keeps is encrypted, and Disconnect deletes it.

Your watch already knows your training. Put it in the conversation.

Enjoying Daash?

Daash is free and one person runs it. If it’s helped your training, the price of a beer helps keep the servers running.
