DAASH CREWS

See who’s running when.

A crew is a few friends who can see each other’s easy and long runs for this week and next, and which ones line up. Then you agree a time in the group chat. Never pace, heart rate or routes.

How it works

  1. 1Start a crewAsk Claude or ChatGPT. Daash asks your name and when you usually run, then makes the crew.
  2. 2Send the inviteA code for friends who use Daash. Turn on the crew's link too, and anyone in the group chat can open it.
  3. 3Run togetherEasy and long runs fill in from each person's plan. Where two of you are out at the same time, it shows.
Got a code from a friend? Ask:

What your crew sees

  • The name you choose and when you usually run
  • The days of your easy and long runs, this week and next, and how far
  • Which runs line up at the same time of day
  • The crew's club run, if it has one

What it never sees

  • Pace or heart rate
  • Routes or where you run
  • The details of hard sessions: they show only as hard, run alone
  • Anything else from Garmin

Questions

Is it free?Yes. Crews come with Daash, which is free.
Do my friends need Daash or a Garmin? No. Friends with Daash join with the code and their runs fill in by themselves. Anyone else opens the crew's link and taps the times they usually run easy. No account needed.
Who can see the crew's page?Anyone with its link, which is long and random, so it can't be guessed. The person who started the crew can turn it off or replace it at any time.
How do I leave?Ask your assistant to leave the crew. The crew stops seeing your runs straight away, and what it kept of them is deleted.
