Daash and Garmin Connect+: what each does

Garmin Connect+ adds premium features and AI insights inside Garmin’s own app. Daash brings the same Garmin account into Claude or ChatGPT, so you can talk your training through and have the sessions land on your watch.

What Connect+ is for
It’s Garmin’s own, right there in the app you already open, with nothing to set up. Most of its value is beyond the AI: maps, nutrition, live tracking and more coaching content, all on the watch you already wear.
What Daash is for
A conversation about your training, in the AI assistant you already use. Ask “why was Tuesday’s tempo so hard?”, “am I ready to race on Sunday?” or “move my long run, I’m travelling Saturday”, and the assistant answers from your splits, sleep and HRV, then updates the week on your Garmin calendar.
Using both
They sit side by side. Connect+ works inside Garmin’s app; Daash reads the same Garmin account from Claude or ChatGPT, and anything it schedules appears in your Garmin calendar next to your Garmin Coach sessions. Your watch stays the centre of it.

- It reads Garmin Connect only, not Strava.

What does Garmin Connect+ add?
Connect+ is Garmin's subscription (£6.99 or $6.99 a month). Alongside Active Intelligence, short AI insights from your sleep, HRV and training load, it adds a performance dashboard, live activity and LiveTrack extras, more Garmin Coach content, Trails+, 3D maps and nutrition tracking, all inside Garmin's app.
Can I use Daash and Garmin Connect+ together?
Yes. They don't conflict: Connect+ works inside Garmin's app, and Daash reads the same Garmin Connect account from Claude or ChatGPT. Workouts Daash creates appear in your Garmin calendar alongside anything from Garmin Coach.
Is Daash made by Garmin?
No. Daash is independent and not affiliated with Garmin. It can connect through Garmin's official API, where you approve it on Garmin's own sign-in page.
